Adjunct Professor in TESOL
Dr. Marietta Bradinova is an Adjunct Professor in TESOL at Fairfax University of America in Fairfax, VA. She is in her 10th year of teaching at FXUA. She is a former EFL and ESL teacher of 15 years. Dr. Bradinova holds a PhD in English Rhetoric and Linguistics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana, PA. She has also earned a Master’s Degree in English Philology and Master’s Degree in English Linguistics from St. St. Cyril and Methodius University, Bulgaria and George Mason University, Fairfax, VA respectively.
Dr. Bradinova creates and delivers face-to-face and online (virtual) professional development services tailored to the unique needs of public school teachers and administrators. She coaches content-area teachers and administrators on best practices for teaching culturally and linguistically diverse students.
Her scholarly work includes the publication of ESOL student and teacher materials, presentations at national and international fora, and invited lectures. Her research and pedagogical interests are shaped by her extensive international ESOL experience.
In 2012 and 2013 Fairfax University of America, 2012 and 2013 Fairfax University of America awarded her its Faculty Outstanding Award for Academic Excellence.
