Fairfax University of America (FXUA) is accredited by ACICS, the largest national accrediting organization of degree granting institutions.
Upon obtaining employment, a FXUA graduate or completer of a program will be placed either by job title, skills, or benefit of their training. Students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the ACICS Definition of Placement. To receive more information on the formula for placement calculation, please visit www.acics.org.
It is important to note that FXUA graduates, including Green Card holders (permanent residents), US citizens, and fully online students, must inform the Career Center of their employment status after graduation.

Non-international students (US Citizens and Green Card Holders) only: Please submit completed employment documents from the list below to career@fxua.edu for processing:
- Employment Notification Form
The graduate must submit the form within three (3) months of graduation and must resubmit the form if a graduate’s employment status changes. Please apply the following to complete the form.- Skill List – The graduate will need to identify four (4) position skills which are related to the earned degree
- Employment Offer Letter – The graduate will need to request this document from his or her supervisor or HR Department. If the graduate was hired before their graduation date, the graduate will also need to submit the Placement Attestation Form.
- Supplement to Employment Notification Form
The graduate must submit the form within three (3) months of graduation if the graduate is not working by choice or due to any restrictions (health, immigration, new degree). Please send supporting documents as needed along with this form.
