Dr. Chakib Chraibi is Chief Data Scientist and Acting Associate Director, Office of Data Services at NTIS, the National Technical Information Service, a Federal agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce with the mission of providing innovative data services to federal agencies to advance their federal data priorities, enable operational excellence, and achieve mission outcomes. In his role, he provides data science expertise to assist governmental agencies harness emerging and innovative technologies and deliver data-driven solutions within the NTIS framework. His professional experience includes industrial, academic, and governmental experiences (Software Engineer, Professor/Chair/Dean, Data Scientist). Dr. Chraibi received a Doctor of Science from the University of Bordeaux, France, a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Binghamton University, NY, and a Professional Certificate in Data Science from Columbia University, NY.
