Whether you are driving, riding a bike, using a ride share service such as Lyft or Uber, or taking public transit, Fairfax is easy to get around. FXUA students and visitors can take advantage of the local metro and bus system, WMATA (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority), which serves the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area along its main routes.
