Dr. Mohamed N. Morsy received his MS in Electrical Engineering from the Assiut University in Egypt and his DSc in Electrical Engineering and Applied Science from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. Prior to teaching at FXUA, Dr. Morsy worked as a part-time faculty at George Washington University. He has also served as a senior system engineer, senior research scientist, and instructor in electrical engineering and applied mathematics. He currently serves as the Department Chair of Communications & Electronics at ITT. He has authored and co-authored many technical journal articles and conference papers. Dr. Morsy is a senior member of the IEEE, a member of the IEEE Communications Society, and a member of the ISOC. He is also a member of the National Curriculum Committee. He has received Certificates of Appreciation from the IEEE Communications Society as well as numerous teaching performance awards. Dr. Morsy is listed in Who’s Who in Science and Engineering and Who’s Who in American Education.
