NOTE: Textbook expenses are not included in tuition. Students can plan on spending between $30-100 per course, with an average of about $55 per course being typical when purchasing NEW books. All students must have a textbook for their courses. Some books may be reused throughout the program (so keep them!). When buying books, be sure to get “new” or “like new in quality.” Books can be purchased from various textbook vendors including FXUA’s virtual bookstore: https://viu.ecampus.com.

Living & Other Expenses
Funds for personal expenses (e.g., room and board) are not included in FXUA’s tuition. Plan for living expenses, which may vary based on individual needs, in advance. The approximate cost for an individual student living in the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $12,550.00 per academic year (9 months).
