Fairfax University of America (FXUA)’s School of Education will be continuing its successful Voices from the Field speaker series in February with a presentation entitled “Teaching Online: Design, Delivery, and Management.”
Our guest speaker, Gorky Cruz, is the Director of CLEAR (the Center for Language Exploration, Acquisition, and Research) at American University. He will share his expertise in teaching online in distance and hybrid environments, illustrating best practices in the design, delivery, and management of online courses and explaining how to prepare for the transition from face-to-face to online teaching and learning.
The event is open to all FXUA students, staff, and faculty, as well as members of the surrounding community.
Please join us on Thursday, February 5, 2015, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in the Waples Conference Room, which is located at 11200 Waples Mill Road in Fairfax, VA 22030.
