Award Renewal Determination through Scholarship Committee

The Presidential Scholarship Committee (PSC), in collaboration with the President of the University, determines Presidential Scholarship program maintenance requirements and annual renewal decisions. The President of the University determines the PSC body, selecting a mix of members across the faculty, administration, and professional staff.

In addition to the eligibility requirements detailed in this policy, scholarship program award determination is contingent first upon successful admittance into the University.

Annual Maintenance Requirements

Summary
FXUA Presidential Scholarships are increasingly competitive. Presidential Scholarship Awardees (PSAs) must meet comprehensive requirements, including the corresponding cumulative grade point average (C-GPA) requirement and portfolio requirement specified in this document, to maintain the scholarship.

PSAs must remain in compliance with all scholarship program policies as outlined in this document, as well as the current FXUA Academic Catalog – including the Code of Academic Excellence as defined in FXUA’s Academic Integrity Policy. PSAs receive full-tuition scholarships up to the total credit hours for courses taken at FXUA, excluding pre-requisites, for the enrolled program. Generally, an FXUA bachelor level degree contains 120 earned total credit hours, and an FXUA master level degree contains 36 earned total credit hours plus any pre-requisite courses. Please refer to the current Academic Catalog for program total credit hours. PSAs can enroll for full-time or part-time status, as long as the other requirements in this document are met. The FXUA Presidential Scholarship covers only tuition costs of on-campus courses toward an FXUA degree, and does not include pre-requisite courses, textbooks, and all other applicable fees.
