Fairfax University of America unveils its new Academic Pursuit Scholarship and Online Scholarship for 2019!
As a private, non-profit 501 (C) (3) institution, Fairfax University of America (FXUA) in Fairfax, Virginia remains committed to making access to higher education affordable. With the rising costs of education and student loan debt in the news, our local university has stayed focused on keeping our tuition costs down while maintaining a quality academic experience and offering numerous support services for students and graduates. FXUA has been a well-kept secret in the local market for 20 years due to its student population mainly coming from other countries in past years. Now students in the Greater Washington, D.C. metro area that are attracted to cultural diversity, affordability, and convenience have found us. FXUA adopts the philosophy that all are welcome in pursuit of their educational goals for a successful future. As a hub of cultural exchange and professional development, FXUA is now playing a significant role in educating individuals who may be new to American culture and striving to become valuable assets in the U.S. workforce.
Due to FXUA’s student population skewing heavy towards the Graduate Degree programs offered on-campus and online, the university Executive Team saw the need to develop two new scholarships that can help make pursuing graduate level studies financially feasible. Many applicants to FXUA have earned degrees abroad and need to earn their academic credentials in the U.S. education system. This is where FXUA can assist those who were credentialed overseas to continue their studies to that next level. FXUA has always been known for its vibrant scholarship program that is made possible by the generosity of our donors. We are proud to continue the tradition of our Scholarship Program by adding these two new options that are geared to Graduate studies and maintain our commitment to affordability. Both new scholarships kick off in our Spring 2019 Semester that begins January 7th.
