Press Release (August 23, 2017)

Intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) Program at Fairfax University of America is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA).

We are pleased to announce that the 7-week Intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) Program at Fairfax University of America has received accreditation by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA). CEA is recognized by the US Secretary of Education to accredit post-secondary intensive English language programs and institutions in the US and internationally.

“CEA accreditation gives FXUA’s ESL students the assurance that we provide a high-quality learning experience through the student-centered curriculum and experienced, professionally skilled faculty,” said Patrick Moss, FXUA’s School of Language Studies Associate Director. ESL students at FXUA are also able to take advantage of the campus facilities, student services, and Scholarship Program.

The Intensive ESL program’s next date is October 23, 2017. FXUA’s program helps students improve their communications skills and also introduces them to American academic environment: from successful admissions to classroom culture. Diverse classes at FXUA allow ESL students to gain intercultural competence and true international exposure. “FXUA is my home in America,” said Leticia Grullón, who completed her ESL program at FXUA. “I believe that my English has improved and I am ready to fast track my career.”
